This BeadChip array is optimized for cytogenetic studies using formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) paired tumor-normal samples.
Match your chosen kit size to the number of samples you run at a time. Each kit is processed as a single batch and is not designed to be divided across multiple experiments. If you are processing several low-throughput batches, order multiple small kits.
HumanCytoSNP FFPE-12 v2.1 DNA Analysis BeadChip Kit (24 samples)
Samples processed on the HumanCytoSNP-FFPE-12 BeadChip must first be processed with the Infinium FFPE DNA Restoration protocol. Extracted FFPE samples that pass the QC test are then eligible for restoration using the Infinium HD FFPE Restore Kit.
The Infinium FFPE QC Kit (348 reactions) is used to prequalify FFPE for use with FFPE-enabled Infinium BeadChips.
The Infinium HD FFPE Restore Kit (24 samples) includes reagents used to restore damaged FFPE DNA.
The HumanCytoSNP FFPE-12 BeadChip interrogates >262,000 genomic markers. The content consists of intelligently selected tag SNPs that provide comprehensive genomic coverage.
With dense and even marker spacing, the BeadChip content can also be used to precisely detect structural aberrations, allowing researchers to accurately identify structural differences between paired-normal and tumor samples.
