Technologies that enable the analysis of gene expression at the single-cell level have revealed the heterogeneity of cell populations and the complexity of immune responses, and the T-SNE plot has quickly become a familiar sight in immunology research. In this webinar, we'll hear three talks that highlight advances made in distinct fields using single-cell sequencing technology. Shane Liddelow (NYU Langone) will discuss reactive astrocyte substates in inflammation and disease, Menna Clatworthy (University of Cambridge) will talk about how immune responses are generated within organs during homeostasis and disease, and Pandurangan Vijayanand (La Jolla Institute for Immunology) will highlight insights from single-cell analysis of airway T cells in severe asthma.
