Stranded Total RNA Species Compatibility

Species Compatibility Details

Our stranded total RNA library prep solutions are designed for human, mouse, rat and plant sequences, but may be applicable to a variety of eukaryotic species. The following tables list organisms that have been laboratory tested and are fully supported by Illumina, tested in silico, or reported to work by our customers. Illumina cannot guarantee rRNA removal based on customer-reported results.

Benefits of RNA Sequencing

RNA-Seq uses next-generation sequencing to analyze expression across the transcriptome, enabling researchers to detect known or novel features and quantify RNA.
